Kelly-Moore Paints Reveals our 2018 Color Forecast

by Mary Lawlor | Aug 11, 2017

With influences of changing social dynamics and political uncertainty we see a muddying of the color forecast for 2018. This influences a shift in the color temperature of neutrals from cool to warm. With Gray being the predominant neutral of the past several years, it worked well with the wealth of bright and lively colors that dominated the palette.

With the return of a 70's influence we begin to see browns become the dominant neutral in 2018; brick red, burnt orange, olive green and golden yellow jump into the palette while coral, bright blue, indigo and aqua keep the palette fresh.

Here is a look at the colors by color family. Please note these colors are representative of an interiors forecast for paint, fabrics and other materials.
